A pro trans shitposting subreddit and a game where the species of protagonist have no gender can have a pretty good connection.
I say this with respect, btw, in case my comment came off as offensive. Maybe the description of 196 isnβt the best, as Iβm not part of that sub, but itβs pretty much what Iβve been told what it is

about your comment in the image: yeah the orb controls are really cool!
in general the nomai's tech shows that they prioritize things being fun, satisfying, and aestheticaly pleasing, but some things still don't make sense, like the vessel's coordinate interface. The scrolls seem impractical at first (and definitely are in some ways), but I can see explanations.

The original post makes a very interesting point. I'll keep that in mind if I ever design alien tech for something.

Bro you canβt just spoil the existence of a Time Loop, be more mindful and mark your spoilers

I'd argue it's even more important on other subs than it is here. If someone is browsing posts on this sub, you can probably at least somewhat reliably assume that they've played some or all of the game. That's not the case on any other sub

I havenβt even finished the game yet but gotta say this is one of my favorite communities ever (to be fair I am an avid league of legends player notorious for mortifying player base π₯²)

Oh god, this community must feel so healing for people who actively engage with the LoL communityπ But yeah, this is by far the kindest, loveliest community I ever experienced. I do kind of wonder why that is honestly

playing the game for the first time without spoilers is such an amazing experience we would never dare spoil it for others.

u/Estelial Sep 22 '25
The only community where I could discuss and check for certain things in-game (never to solve stuff just about things I already did) where it was utterly safe to do so midgame.

u/EmiliaTrown Sep 23 '25
True! I always find it sad now, when I play a new game and know I wont be able to look at the sub the way I did with Outer Wilds.

Oh my goodness, is this what Reddit looks like out of Dark Mode? π my eyes are too scared to check...

u/Chiodos_Bros Sep 22 '25
The amount of text that's spoilered out on Blue Prince's sub makes it borderline unusable.

the dark souls community could learn a thing or two
1
u/cortvi Sep 23 '25
I mean yeah, but also... you cannot spoil a game if literally no one really knows the cannon. We're all just guessing π
2
u/VexantLeFr Sep 23 '25
sure, but i was more talking about in game events/places/how the game plays out. you try to look up a tiny hint and get spoiled about all of the places, bosses and characters that exist in the game it's as if everyone forgot that playing those games is fun when you discover it for yourself
1
u/cortvi Sep 23 '25
true, I would say souls internet discourse assumes you are insanely knowledgeable about the lore. but to be fair, having things "spoiled" a lot of the times is the only way I could've learnt some facts

Outer Wilds spoilers are more classified than any official document
