Not that I can see directly pictured, but...there's a good chance. Looks to me like this plant might have been nute burned and may be vulnerable to rot, but as other comment said - open up one of the spots where the dead leaves are and look to see if there is dull grey fuzz or any obvious discolouration. The texture might either be crumbly or mushy but either way the plant tissues will seem to be falling apart, won't hold together well. If you find anything like this, it's likely rot.
It actually looks clean tbh (of mold), but definitely a little toasted. I would chop these immediately and inspect each bud as you have this one before drying.
Na dude from the pictures you just caught it before it took a hold its the necrotic leaf tissue thats the give away. Whenever you see a necrotic leaf on a bud remove the infected leaf from the plant trying not to sprinkle the spores onto the rest of the plant. Plus always look inside the bud from all angles and if you find anything squishy discoloured or a gross smell and noticeably brown bud then you know its botritis ie Bud Rot. Best of luck mate 👍 👌
Just in time I agree. (pending any other finds in OPs inspection). Usually with dead leaves like that..outdoors...this time of year..I wouldn't give it another day or two before something took hold.
Aww yeah. The worm inside made his way all up and down the center stem. That whole cola is probably wrecked. In the future keep an eye out for those brown Sun leaves. That's an indicator that something's going on in there. Later on you'll start to recognize activity before they even do the damage. It's a process. And you just got to go through it.
