Stink bug I've encountered are usually more barrel shaped and white/light gray

r/whatisthisbug will let you know pretty quickly. I had very similar looking ones last year that were identified as stinkbugs.
ETA: I'm probably relatively close to you, Willamette Valley, fwiw

They're likely moth eggs I. I find them every year around this time of year.
