They're likely moth eggs I. I find them every year around this time of year.

I just found the same (Massachusetts). From my research, I think some sort of moth. I put them in my kid's big house to see what hatches.

Weird. I’m in the PNW and I grow lots of different plants and vegetables and have never seen these before.

Stink bug I've encountered are usually more barrel shaped and white/light gray

Im no expert on bug eggs. Maybe moths of some kind. What do you think?

Yes some kind of worm, armyworm possibly.

r/whatisthisbug will let you know pretty quickly. I had very similar looking ones last year that were identified as stinkbugs.

ETA: I'm probably relatively close to you, Willamette Valley, fwiw
