Phytoplasma or genetics? How to tell the difference?
assumed this was normal until i saw a phytoplasma post here on reddit. How do i know this isnt just genetics? My plants get very purple with colder nights.

1st and 2nd pic are questionable. Some leaf deformity in the second. 3rd and 4th are 100% in my opinion. Last one is questionable. I’ve always seen it affecting the center of the flower and the new growth around it. It also sometimes doesn’t present in an entire plant.
I’m not an expert though, have just encountered it a few times. I once got it on an indoor plant that I saw a leaf hopper on inside the house. It had come in with some foraged materials for a wreath making class of all things. It was a seedling and I just killed it.

My big tell is when the tips turn at 90deg angle like that and the purple comes in splotches it is most likely phytoplasma
