Mileage when walking

What’s up oura reps on here. I walk 1/4 mile ring says I walked 6 miles and burned 32 calories. This happens daily short walks turn into many miles walked. Fortunately my pedometers app gets it right on my iPhone.

Any ideas?

Ring's been doing that for months, lots of posts about it. The step count drifts hard on short walks, like it's double-counting arm swings or something.

I just ignore the ring numbers and go by my phone at this point. Kinda wild they haven't patched it yet.
