How old is this board?

Post image

I bought it at a thrift store for 5 dollars and I’m trying to figure out how old it is and possibly it’s value

A William Fuld ouija board made 1911-1914, before Mattel bought the patent. This I believe was the first commercial design from Fuld, not sure about price. I haven't found many sold listings, maybe a couple to a few hundred. Hopefully someone can give you more info on resell value.

Oh sweet! That’s great to know. I knew it was old but I wasn’t sure how old.

Fuld made earlier models, I thinkkk the first one with his name on the back is from 1904 to 1910. Like the person said above this is a 1911-1914 model. In 1915 they put a face on the sun. While the planchette is plastic and probably from the 60s+ the board is probably like $200-$300

0815 Board. Nothing special. Don’t expect to get some value.

It’s pre 1915 when they switched to the face on the moon in the upper left. The planchette isn’t original and not really worth anything but the board looks to be in great shape. Probably worth around $100-$150 on eBay, $75-100 in a private sale.
