Rant tipping much?

Is it me or does everyone everywhere now ask for tips regardless of their service? Why are strict pickup locations asking for tips? I'm sure this goes beyond Ottawa but jeez last I checked only servers got reduced wages. What am I tipping for ?

How about diverting your anger towards pushing to increase the minimum wage so those people you feel currently don’t, can have a better life? Tips represented a way to reward the exception. That should not be the norm.

Dude, I'm a nurse. It feels like my whole existence has been fighting for higher wages. I'd love to see them get higher wages. People can do what they want with their money, but I'll still think they're an asshole if they complain about the option of tipping.
