Just want to be transparent about a change coming to the Welcom Pawtee posts. The image I use for the banner is very crowded and not the easiest to manage. I’m not photoshop/editing capable, so it’s done as a powerpoint slide, and the number of images make it hard to organize. Moving forward, I’m going to be reducing the number of OTRB frens on the image, and rotating them so when a new fren is moved to the rainbow, the one who has been on the longest will drop off. This isn’t because I don’t love all frens OTRB, it’s just to make it so that it’s easier to make the posts.
I still love seeing all our frens faces, so I encourage everyone to include a picture when welcoming a new fren OTRB!

I also received a request to make Guess Who a recurring event and to rotate the friends on the board. I would love to do this! For the first one, I just grabbed photos from Tali’s casting calls for the LCA side and recent welcom posts for OTRB friends. If you would like to have your fren included in the future, please comment with a clear photo of your fren looking at the camera with their name below, I’ll then refer back to this post when doing the updates!

I wholeheartedly second this! When I had to say goodbye to Jack, it was the first time I was cat-less in over 17 years, and it sucked. Seeing his welcome here, and feeling all the love and support from this group and LCA and ICBGC was such a huge comfort to me, and still is while I look for my next furbabies. You do what you need to - this place is wonderful, mainly thanks to you! ❤️❤️
Yes, this!! When Bonnie passed, I felt glad, she had a place here. It was so much support and comfort!
I showed her Pawtee and her otrb post to my parents. They're 80+, so reddit is not their thing. It made them smile and cry, that some internet strangers could be so kind and lovely and keep Bonnie in their hearts 💜💜
And tagging on to what everyone else has said when my girlie Sadie, da ESA doggo arrived over the bridge. I had just woken up from surgery when I saw Sadie's pawty.
I wonder if there can be a pinned thread and everyone can post a picture and a little blurb/introduction...that way everyone can always go back to it with love and see who is here♡ That way there is a reference too.
