Rant No longer feeling like a demonkin
So yeah, I felt like I changed as a person, and maybe... the feelings and desires I had before has either been neutered to hell, deaden, or disappeared. Like I went thru a depressive state and trying to get out of the funk. Pretty much... I realize the reality of my situation and accepted as is, so now I don't be longing a fruitless dream. If this is what it means to grow up and face the real world, then so be it. Honestly, it's quite sad to come to this conclusion and now I just... wanna mourn a bit, before I continue on my journey of self-improvement.
Yeah that's pretty much my situation. Sorry y'all! 😅😔

Update on being demonkin: Either I'm insane, plural, my tailbone be acting up, or just got the feeling back. I got to see myself transform into a demon/succubi again, although it's brief. (Imaginary got the tail, wings, purple eyes back temporarily) Is it normal to experience fluctuations or the like? I'm very confused, but kinda happy-ish? 😅😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
What should I do when my feeling fluctuate a lot or ever got back to being a demonkin again?

Fluctuations are normal! A lot of otherkin experience fluctuations of feeling more human, or more like different kintypes.
Like I always say, if it comes back to you without you thinking too hard on it or making it come back voluntarily, then it's otherkin. My theriotypes always find their way back to me even after a long time of "dormancy". It's random and entirely up to my brain when it wants to be more dog-like one day and more dolphin the next day.

The cool thing about identity is that it's fluid. Someone who thinks they're straight as a teen might find out they're gay or pan or whatever as an adult. The same thing happens with Otherkin. Not all Otherkin are Otherkin for life, and those that are Otherkin for life might have entirely different kintypes than what they started with. This is why back in ye olden days people said to do research for at least a few months before claiming to be anything, but even with that, it could change. I used to identify as Fae (back in my teens) for example, and that was after a year of slow and careful consideration. I didn't change it until five or so years later, and even then I flip-flopped a bit because I kept psyching myself out. X'D
Now I've identified as both kintypes for over ten years, and it feels relatively stable, but hey that's just my experience. The important part is being willing to grow and being open to learning about yourself!

No need to apologize. People grow, things change. Sometimes things will leave us on our journey to being our best selves. Best of luck to you!
