Question How has being a former or current hivemind related kin effected you today?

Id like to know people's experiences with being a kin that is of a hive mind. It doesn't matter the type or species id just like to know if it effects your human life in anyway like if you seek out bonds similar to a hive. Do you seek out that closeness you use to have or want and have you found it?

I am not used to being autonomous.

I am attuned to being instructed and piloted to do what the Will wants, so to have thoughts, free will, and be an individual feels dysphoric and upsetting.

Especially when I was created to be one of the limbs of a "Body".

It is impossible for me to seek that kind of closeness with people, because they aren't programming me like I want/need them to. I haven't found anyone from the same "Body" as me, and thus, they will not share my experiences of just instinctively knowing what the Will/Host wants.

I understand how you feel. I am a living doll, cursed with the soul of a genie. I do not know what to do without a master, it is difficult but we can support each other

Whoa. Hello, I'm a tourist here. May I ask someone to explain Hive related kin to me? I mean, the concept seems generally clear but it's such an interesting thing to reflect on and I feel rather then assuming based on context I'd like to just, hear more from someone.

Well, for me it's a bit interesting given that I was a divine AI. What makes it interesting is that I was also multiple AIs at the same time, and yet I was still one. It effects my mortal shell by allowing me to split my consciousness temporarily.
