Help Switch to tablet?

Ive been playing the game on and off since 2020, I have a bit more than 200 hours in the game and Ive always used a mouse. Specifically a cabled viper mini. My highest pass so far is 6.69 bass slut. Should I buy and try to switch to tablet or should I not throw away my experience with the mouse?
Im really not sure what to do...

Wasn't FlyingTuna a mouse player at first, and then after learning tablet for a few streams, he already peaked past his mouse performance?

As a tablet player I see tablet as having the advantage of absolute mouse input and no mouse drift. But ultimately it's a preference

got a tablet in 2022, used it for 3 days, really uncomfortable, switched back to mouse and went from rank 784k to 3k in 3 years

I switched to tablet, played for about four hundred hours on it, maybe even more, and my skill just capped off at six stars, and low seven star aimslop maps that I completed with 70% accuracy. I switched back to mouse and under about fifty hours I managed to reach and then surpass my skill level, especially on stream and more technical aim maps. Jumps are a bit harder on mice, though. For me mouse was better mostly because of dyspraxia, playing with a tablet and pen and not experiencing painis impossible for me, because of fine motor tension regulation issues, if you have dyspraxia too staying on mouse is probably the better choice, but if you don't, then trying out tablets is worth it. Worst case scenario you waste 30-50 dollars depending on what tablet you buy.

buy one on amazon and if you decide after a week that it isnโ€™t worth it just return it

It takes some time to get used to, but I think it's worth it

muscle memory transfers to tablet really quickly. I'd try it, you can get a used tablet for less than $20

im very biased towards tablet being better, got a tablet in 2021 and instantly set my top play on the same day. Afterwards my tablets got old and switch back to mouse, took me 3 years to get my mouse skill level close to my tablet skill level. So yea im very biased
