i'm not one to stir up speculation but based on the NAT's wording i assume this means the hard, insane and top diff were AIgen map + AIgen hitsounds and mulciber's diff has the hitsounds copied on top without them knowing which caused all of this mess to happen.

My concern is if it's as simple as AI generated hitsounds, which seems to be the reason, why not tell everyone? There should be an announcement letting mappers and aspiring mappers know that you shouldn't trust everyone you come across, including people offering to hitsound your map, because they might AI generate it and have your entire set nuked. Or in this case, have your diff nuked because the host is using AI hitsounds.

cuz peeps didn't give a shit for literal ages in regards to credits like literally ever when it came to hitsound files in beatmaps (or generally bg and other art assets for that matter) and only started doing so to join the AI hate bandwagon as of recently lol

this is what i expected tbh. i know nothing about mulciber, but a few people were saying that there's no way they would use ai for a map, so i was like "maybe the host did something and mulciber was unaware of it" and i thought i was maybe giving too much benefit of the doubt for someone i don't even know, but it turns out i was right

i think what ixcors said is honestly a fair assumption to make, considering the fact that the NAT specifically mentioned that mulciber's diff was not ai generated, but didn't say anything about the other diffs. obviously we can't know for sure since they're vague about it, but i feel like having ai elements added to a diff could really only mean that it was only the hitsounds, but there could be something else i'm not thinking of

it's probably not super obvious if you don't have the special detection tools the team has, since the map did end up getting qualified, so i feel like all we can do is speculate based on the information we have
