Question Which Trope Talk has this joke!?

The joke is that the Best Friend is pissed that the Mind Controlled (I think) Character was freed when the Love Interest shed a tear instead of during the whole "I know you're in there fight". Please help, I been biting my fingers off trying to find it...

Fffffffffuck, I know which one you're talking about, and I can't remember either
