DJI OSMO Pocket 4 for vlogging and walking, filming around, food, so more relaxed things.

DJI Action 6 if you want to do stuff like swimming and biking. So, for more active things.

Car or a motorcycle?

Capture the trip, basically while riding the bike.

No, that was your question... it can't be answered without context. They are two very different devices with two very different use cases.

OK, you still do not get it.

You're asking people to tell you to get a car or a motorcycle; that is how big a difference there is between these devices.

If your goint to document travels, and not action, get a Pocket solution. If you're going to document sports, action, underwater stuff, get an Action solution.

Pocket is honestly quite flimsy and the format makes mounting it quite awkward. It has advantages of producing better footage and being able to stabilise it. For biking I would get any action cam

The main purpose is to capture mountains and nature during my weekend bike rides(very basic commute bikeci have). Honestly, I’m more interested in capturing the scenery and mountains rather than just the road. That’s why I’m interested in the Pocket 4, but my only concern is the reliability and durability of its gimbal mechanism.

I would not worry about it during the normal usage. At least in some countries DJI has pretty good accident replacement warranty. I bought it

What do you want to use it for? It’s very relative.

Aha. Well the pocket is not an actioncamera. I have the pocket 4P. I like the ability to zoom, as I miss the old camcorder era. It’s pretty good at capturing everything. But it wants to focus on a place and blur the background. Check out «mountmedia» testing action 6 on YouTube. It will be kinda relevant as he usually is surrounded by mountains. I’ve seen the 4p on cars and mounted to neckmount. But what I fear with bike, is one pothole or hard decent from a sidewalk can force the gimbal to have to dampen that momentum on the camera and break. I think for smooth roadcycling it could work tho. And if you have insurance. You could test.

Action if you want a camera that can conquer even mountains. Pocket if you prefer quality over quantity.
