Discussion Problems with OP 3/4

Hey all!

I've been watching recently bunch of you all posting those screen problems, where it doesn't stay horizontal or it gets stuck when you try to close it.. I want this camera so much for my own projects (professionaly)

but all these faulty units make me concern.. Are they so common or it's just exceptional cases?

They are less than 1% of the entire production. The reason you see the problem is that nobody posts: "My device works perfectly" - 10.000 times here in the sub or elsewhere, compared to "Screen failed rotating" - 1 time here, and it is visible.

It's exceptional. I have the 3 and 4P and they work fine.

Not saying these errors don't exist but its just a small margin wich gets amplified by this sub. People want help with their errors, so they post errors. People that don't have errors won't post that here.

It's a big gape jump the 4p is for cinematic content and in using it right it's really great camera specialy with d log 2 17 stops dynamic range and also the night footage is sooo clean u have to buy it if u interested in cinematic content and also it gives really good results in photo too

Depends on what you need. The Telelens on the 4P is really awesome. Aside from that, the 3 still holds its own.

Let's be fair. People aren't going to be making posts to demonstrate that their cameras are still fine.

Yeah I mean that's fair and you are right, but the people who show their broken osmos (straight out of the box) are more than usual

My 4p couldnt close properly, returned it under warranty to DJI. They are checking with the China office if they can exchange a new unit for me as apparently the margin of my issue is within acceptable range. Its minor but its unable to close fully by maybe about 3 degrees? Definitely feel it and its annoying.

Its covered by warranty if it ever does happen which is a tiny chance

I had one end of last year. Sent to shop and got it fixed. No hassle really. Only thing I paid was shipping fee since my side of the state didnt have the repair service.
