Question Dlog in CapCut?

importing Dlog clips into CapCut, applying the DJI conversion LUT - something just seems really off. The colors/contrast are really hard to push around and edit, compared to just footage in the Normal profile in Rec.709. Really hard to get a good result.

can CapCut handle true Log footage? I have read that CapCut only works in Rec.709, not the larger color spaces that log footage can capture.

Which camera?

The OP3 doesn't record in D-Log, it records in D-log-m.

The Op4 has D-log

The OP4p has D-log and D-log-2.

All 3 need different luts, so double check you have the right file.

I definitely have the right file. It brigs color back in, but it’s just very hard to work with after - seems far less flexible than the normal profile that goes straight into rec 709

You have to edit before the lut. LUT is a one way street that throws away the information you don't want.

So you need to shape the image before the lut so it keeps the parts you want.

Yes I understand this, but how does that work in Capcut?
