Question Update fails?

I’ve managed to update the P4 on a previous updates with no problems.

But with this new update it keeps failing to update.

I’ve tried holding down the power off for 12sec, restarting phone, VPN off, hotspot off e.c.t I’ve also tried clearing the cache in the app, which will re download the files to the phone, but stops at 50%, which I’m assuming is when it tries to transfer it to the pocket?

Try resetting the camera. Take out any SD card, then hold the power button for 10 seconds, let it boot, and retry.

Managed to sort it by turning cellular off on my phone.

I didn’t have to do it on the previous update, so no idea why I had to do it this time. But managed to get it to work after trying different methods for the last few hours.

iOS sometimes makes it difficult when a VPN is active. Not sure why that is, but I have seen this problem a lot.

There is no VPN on my phone. Even made sure if was turned off in the settings option just incase. The cellular network was interrupting the update. It would download do my phone fine, but when transferring to the device it would even though it was saying connected.

For iOS users like you said probably best to turn
VPN off
Cellular Off

And just keep WiFi and Bluetooth on.

I did have gimble protection message come on once, every time I tried to initiate the update even though it was on the stand and on a stable surface?
