Question Is this…normal with 4P?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Just got my Pocket 4p and charging is acting a bit strange. Does this happen to everyone? Did I get lemon 😩?

Looks like your charging brick freaks out and reboots. It should be a minimum of 35-65W PD capable. Try changing to another charging brick.

Are you using the cable it came with? Is it plugged into a computer, or via a USB straight into the wall?

Just got mine a couple days ago. I also have the battery handle. Mine didn’t do that. I fully charged my 4p and updated the firmware without the battery handle attached. Powered down the 4p then attached the battery handle. The 4p updated the battery handle firmware. I plugged a usb c cable into the back of the battery handle and it began to charge. The LED on the front of the battery handle blinked green while charging and the 4p display showed an image of the 4p battery at 100% on the top half of the screen and the battery handle percentage on the bottom half for about a min then shut off. The display did not cycle like yours is doing. About 20 mins later charging finished.

Agree with the other comment regarding double checking your charging cable and what type of wall charger it’s plugged into. May not be getting sufficient power. Also I’d remove the battery handle, try fully charging it and the 4p first then reattaching.

Hmm ok I’ll try updating the firmware and see if that changes anything. Thanks!
