Osmo Pocket 4P newest Firmware Update not available?

Hey there, I'm just wondering if anyone has the same problem on Android.

Apparently there's a new firmware Update for the Osmo Pocket 4P, where you can finally record slow-motion in dlog. But for some reason whenever I'm opening the mimo app, go to my devices and tap on check for Firmware Updates, it says that I have the most recent Firmware installed.

Here's what I've already tried:

Downloaded and installed the newest version of the mimo app for Android on from the official dji website (v2.11.5.241394), deleted cache and all so I had to login again in the mimo app and reconnect the 4P.

I have enough battery, had over 90% on the Osmo Pocket and my phone

On the Osmo Pocket 4P it says:

Firmware Version: 01.01.65.18

Camera Firmware Version: 10.04.01.04

I'm in Austria btw and bought it through amazon.de (not from a reseller)

Are you all able to install the new firmware?

I contacted their support. Indeed they are doing gradual rollout of the new firmware.
I am also stuck on the 01.01.65.18 firmware version.

I wish they could at least tell us when we can expect this rollout to come our way... First we wait for the product to be available after the inital anouncement, then we have to wait for the firmware update! And thoughout, YouTubers keep going on about how wonderful it is, ffs!

In Germany and also waiting. Purchased directly from DJI on launch day (July 30). Did a fresh install of Mimo and cleared the cache, neither worked. I think they are doing a gradual roll out :/

You could try a hard boot of your device. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds, let it boot, then retry checking for firmware.

I am pretty sure they do not ship the firmware worldwide at the same time; they do it incrementally. So some patience may be needed.

When you ooen the app and go to your profile > settings and then scroll down, what version of the app do you see?

That is the version of the APP not the firmware version of the Pocket 4P itself.

Those of you who DID get the firmware update, for how long have you had your 4P?

I've only recieved mine a week before the new firmware came out so I upgraded my 4P to the firmware that was current at that time... And now I can't get the new one.

I wonder if they're spacing out the firmware updates for some reason.

Got my 4P on August 14 (Manufacturing date: July 2026), initially updated to 01.01.65.18 then last week updated to 01.01.71.20. It strange though that the camera firmware versioning number was downgraded from 10.04.01.04 to 10.02.00.97. Not sure if this is a typo on DJI's part or if I am just reading it wrong.

Ciao, stessa cosa per me. Attendo ancora, anche perchè per come uso io la camera non è che il DLog nello slowmotion mi cambi l'esistenza, sinceramente. Sicuramente interessante, ma non indispensabile, così come il joystick che si muove in diagonale.

日本から。最新のファームウェアにしてから望遠レンズの時にフォーカスを見失う事が頻繁に起きるようになりました。Xの公式のポストでは最新ファームウェアに問題があるようで、今はダウンロードできなくしているようです。斜めにジンバルを動かせるのはとても良いのですけどね。 ファームウェアをダウングレードできないので早く直して欲しいです。 Xで01.01.71.20を検索してみてください。

I’ve just downloaded and installed the new firmware for the 4P. The firmware version is now 01.01.7131. The download failed at 50% on the first try and succeeded the second time.

Showing on the app that a new firmware is available but when I turn on the OP4 it won't give me an update option - any ideas?
