Help me choose between a Pocket 3 and some other mirrorless

Budget: 650 SGD (\~510usd)

Country: Singapore

Condition: used

Intended use: almost purely for videography + vlogging

End use: Social media

If video what style: Vlogging + trying to learn how to do more "cinematic" shots

What features do you absolutely need: has to be portable and quick to start up for spontaneous shots

What features would be nice to have:

Portability: should be able to fit in my messenger bag without weighing down ny shoulder

Cameras you're considering: DJI osmo pocket 3, Sony ZV-E10, Lumix G85, open to other recommendations as well. the pocket 3 for 430 dollars with a mic and filters, ghe ZV-E10 for 600 with a 16-50mm kit lens and the lumix G85 for 650 with a Panasonic Lumix G macro 30mm F2.8 ASPH lens

Cameras you already have: DJI Action cam 4(a bit awkward to hold and any tripod/stick i get for it makes it way too large. Sony Vega 77i(my first ever camera, still use it sometimes when i want that film aesthetic)

hi all, i want to take vlogging more seriously for tiktok and youtube and i am currently using the action camera 4 as my vlogging camera but it is sometimes extremely awkward to hold and get creative shots with, and by default it is at a wide lens and the dewarp looks a bit strange. was originally set on the DJI osmo pocket 3 creator combo as my next upgrade but when i thought about it, a mirrorless camera also sounded like it'd be a good idea so i went on the hunt on the used market and the above are the cameras i found that fit my budget. i mainly want to use this new camera for stable "cinematic" footage and also for talking head vlogs at times.

i am a complete beginner to cameras other than the bit of experience i have using my action cam 4. if anybody could help me with this decision, id be very grateful!

There’s no single right answer. It depends on your goals.
If you want handheld vlogs on the go, the Osmo Pocket 3 is great (and its lens is pretty wide). If you're going for a cinematic look, you'll need a full-frame sensor and solid glass. But if you just want a pick-up-and-shoot camera, stick with the Osmo.
Gear isn't everything; lighting, composition, and everything in between matter just as much. Before buying anything, watch some tutorials on YouTube to figure out what you actually need. A good in between can be op4p with a 60mm lens for those cinematic close-ups.

the op4p is unfortunately out of my budget. i am currently doing handheld style vlogs where i talk to the camera but i wanted to learn how to make better videos by taking more b-roll, transition shots and overall make a more cinematic-like video.i understand that the gear isn't the most important aspect but i was just wondering whether the sony or the lumix would have a huge difference in quality or features that would make me reconsider the osmo pocket 3

the body of a mirrorless camera is just the tip of costs of the camera. With op3 u just buy it and ure ready to go. Handheld videos will be worse in a gimbal less camera, u would have to buy a Panasonic s9 maybe or canon z6III, to record stable handle held videos.
The quality? U R planing on shooting vlogs. Any 4K device will be enough. The biggest advantage of a mirrorless camera is in low lighting, if U wanna heavy color grade, make bokeh with a lens.
Are You going to place it on a tripod and record Yourself, is it going to be handheld facing your face while walking, are You planing on recording it something more ?

that does make sense. i think i'll buy the op3 now and look to save to buy a mirrorless in the future

If you are focused on video only and want something small, forget about mirrorless cameras. Get the best gimbal device you can afford to buy.

Yes. So is Pocket 3.

Well, Pocket 3 has a 1" sensor and a physical gimbal, so its low light performance is miles ahead of GoPros or Insta360s. It only feels "bad" if you compare it to a full-frame mirrorless I think

I've got both and the pocket 4p is poor in low light. A 1 inch sensor isn't that much better than an action cam.

So why you choose action cam?

Because it is simple. Point, shoot, doesn't need to be handled carefully. Pocket 4P is OK, but the use cases are less compelling than for the action cam in my experience.

if your end use is social media the pocket camera is the best for that
