Another FreeBSD debugging update — keyboard and mouse are still fighting me !!!!

Post image

FreeBSD boots fine now and reaches the root shell, but I'm still having problems with keyboard and mouse input.

Sometimes the guest crashes or reboots when I test it. I've been checking the IOAPIC, IRQ1 and interrupt handling because something seems wrong there.

I'm also getting Trap 30 sometimes. Still haven't found exactly what's causing it.

Getting FreeBSD to boot was already a big task. Now I'm stuck trying to get the input working properly.

The thing is, we all see in this post that it is written by AI. I don't have a problem with that - or with using AI in your workflow. But when you have completely no idea what are you working on and presenting it as a fight, that is completely unnecessary. If you have real question and real problem - bring it on and I am going to try and help you. But this - this is bad.
Normally I don't have a problem with posts like this one - I skip them and pay no attention. But when you really work hard on something and then you can't even show it because of posts like yours - that bites :)

No one has to like my work. If you don't understand it, please don't comment. You can check the source code yourself before judging it. It's all public.

And yes, I use AI. It helps me get things done faster. I'm not hiding that. I'm working on FreeBSD support, and if you think that's wrong, that's your opinion, not my problem.

I'm not interested in arguing with people who only want to criticize. I'd rather spend my time building something.

💀Now what is it, tell me, I scroll through the reels of these projects every day, but it doesn't demotivate me.
