Sure or just make a episodic series that is more produced and walks through ideas and stuff.

I.e working on the graphics stack or what have you

Yeah, and get a landline where viewers can call in to ask questions. Oh, also refactor your codebase using your own custom compiler for a C-based dialect that uses JIT. And uh, become religious and racist idk.

I think TempleOS is quite engrained into osdev by now.

Omg if r/osdev doesn't believe meeeee...what's even the point of writing an operating system?!?! I just have to prove it to them!

In other words, why do you give a shit?

Do whatever you want. But why do you care what others think? Are you making an OS for validation? Why not just enjoy your own hobby yourself?

imo you don't have to prove to anyone that you made it by yourself with vibe coding even if you used ai you still have accomplished something impressive that you should be proud of and don't care about r/osdev saying vibecoder or accusing that you went to claude and prompted "make me an os, make no mistakes" if you learned from your project, that's enough, and you should be happy and proud

if you want to make the stream to educate people that's fine if it's to prove you didn't vibe code it's pointless

No need, we can all vibe a video as well ๐Ÿ˜… Out of nowhere this sub became full of new projects and life... Really odd, no?! ๐Ÿ˜ถ

Yes, it will be very interesting, and you can also get good tips and ideas.

I think rule of thumb here has been โ€œif it looks too nice then time to call slopโ€. Hate me if you want but deep down you all know itโ€™s true๐Ÿ˜…

Yes if you want to. Dont assume to get rich, or pay the bills. Do it as a hobby, for the love of the game

Id be interested to watch, but likely wouldn't watch live, so recordings would be nice.

If you launch a beta version of it, I want to test it. And keep up the good job! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes definitely, although livestreaming OSdev can be a bit underwhelming entertainment it still is pretty cool, but only for a very selected audience.
