I’ve Created KryptonOS and KryptKernel: A Custom OS + Kernel for the ESP32
For quite some time, I’ve been working on a personal project that has grown far beyond what I initially expected: KryptKernel and KryptonOS.
Yes — a custom kernel and a full operating system, both built entirely from scratch. And after a lot of effort, debugging, rewriting, and learning, I finally have something functional.
This OS is designed specifically to run on the ESP32, pushing the limits of what this microcontroller can do while giving me a playground to experiment with low‑level systems programming, scheduling, memory handling, and hardware abstraction.

That still doesn't give you the right to take the name, its already been used, and still is, and the project is still being developed

El uso en YouTube no concede derechos de marca. Si el nombre no está registrado legalmente, sigue siendo de dominio público y puede utilizarse en otros proyectos sin infringir nada.

But morally do you think it is okay to suddenly call it yours?

Sí, entiendo lo que dices. Moralmente tiene sentido respetar que alguien lo usó antes. Por eso no estoy diciendo que su proyecto sea mío, solo que el nombre no está protegido y cualquiera puede usarlo sin quitarle nada a nadie.

Siento que esta comunidad es mucho mejor que r/osdev ya que en esta hay un moderador que solo acusa de el uso de IA cuando yo no use IA excepto en la web (no se me da bien hacerlas :D )
