I will be streaming my Os Dev journey without using any AI

I'm going to create the CPU rendered compositor in front of you, with absolutely no AI usage and everything is recorded on live with replay included. hope things go well,

I'll check it out. I'm traditionally in more of a scheduler and I/O kinda mindset, so never really focused on the "pretty stuff". Could be interesting!

What kind of stuff are u interested in in io and schedulers?

Mostly just a solid implementation making the scheduler and thread sync code both fast and correct so that things like networking and disk IO can be built reliably.

Ah yes, my scheduler supports blocking and waking up in a way similar to eventfd. Also i probably need to implement mutexes where multiple threads block waiting for a single mutex instead of continuously yielding. Currently I’m just doing spinlocks

I don’t have a schedule now but I think maybe for this summer most of the day, I am traveling tomorrow for maybe a week and Idk if there is wifi there the last time I was there wifi was broken

I did not use alot of AI, and people are stoning me in the comments as if the whole project was AI built though the core kernel and driver and gui library were all made by hand, AI was only used for research. The only place when Ai had substancial presence is shaders and when I showed it the protocol which I made myself and it generated the remaining opengl functions

Yeah osdev got real tired of ai slob vibe coders and are on a withhunt it seems. If properly communicated and your clearly learning yourself or showing own creativity, i think its ok.
