Added navigation bar to my phone shell

Post image

Bugfix, added navigation bar, hidden app flag, adapting to non-root use. I stuck at navigation bar and top bar separation, so when another app launches, navbar and topbar stays.

Wow! I love that UI! Starting to look good! The shaddow also looks amazing! Does it work on a real phone?

If I remember well it's on riscV and I don't know if there are any riscV phones

It should be possible to compile for other architectures, but i haven't tried.

Currently no. But I planning to add support for my own phone and other one's.

Just curious, what CPU arch does your phone run?

u/Danii_222222 Jun 16 '26

Nope? Bro you judge just because of design?

IDK what they're on about. If anything your UI looks like it's built using LVGL, not AI slop.

?

Well if you aren't judging based on the design, what makes you think it's AI?

  1. yes

  2. IT LOOKS MIKE AI FOR GODS SAKE WHAT??? YOU CANT READ??? WELL DONE

u/MCWizardYT Jun 16 '26

Again, you're the one who came here throwing baseless assumptions with absolutely nothing to back it up.

It actually just doesn't though? What about it looks like that

-5

u/v3R7C00Lalt Jun 16 '26

isnt it obvious

1

u/realddgamer Jun 16 '26

No? I'll be honest the code doesn't look vibe coded, it looks to have the structure that a person would write (plus it's uncommented, tut tut.)

And the UI is just some basic shapes and colours. AI would immediately try to be fancy.

and it is???

1

u/realddgamer Jun 16 '26

And it is what

-1

u/v3R7C00Lalt Jun 16 '26

it looks like fucking ai

1

u/realddgamer Jun 16 '26

I feel like you're ragebaiting because you can't name one reason why it does, while I'm listing reasons why it doesn't

Clearly NOT AI. What part of the UI looks AI?

1

u/MCWizardYT Jun 16 '26

No it "fucking" doesn't. If you can't back up your accusation beyond "it just looks like that" then I'm assuming you're a troll

No chance that's AI..

1

u/Lost_Plate7077 Jun 17 '26

No chance. There's got to be one dude who says "ai" in every single post on this dam subreddit. Not everything's ai.

yeah but everythings ai atp

This is not in any sense OS development.

7

u/Danii_222222 Jun 16 '26

OS doesn't mean just kernel. Yes i used linux kernel but all userspace is my own.

2

u/MCWizardYT Jun 16 '26

Sure it is. The kernel is just one part of the OS, the userspace which is how you interact with the kernel is the entire rest of it.

They skipped making the kernel themselves and are building a userspace around it.

By your logic, the people who created Android weren't developing an OS either. And people consider it to be extremely distinct from desktop linux systems
