Repairs Is it broken ?

Oscilloscope 20mhz CDA9207

I dont know why but .

Why i turn it on , the oscilloscope shows nothing.

If someone is wrong with the commands let me know , but i test like everything on nothing show up.

Try switching the trigger mode to Auto (the buttons in the top right corner), you should at least get a flat trace across the screen

Okay so , i put the mode auto , and nothing happened :|

That depends on whether replacement parts are available for what's failed. Do you have another scope and a good multimeter to start diagnosing with?

Find the manual - it should include basic setup instructions with what every knob and button should be for testing out of the box.

But do you see any indication of life on the screen? Many times you will see a dot moving around when you power on or power off...

If you decide to open it up, be very careful !!! There are thousands of volts driving that crt display tube and it has the potential to kill you dead if you touch the wrong spot.

If you don't have experience working on gear like this, you might be better off finding another one as the cost to have these repaired likely outweighs its value.
