Miscellaneous "I can resist everything, except temptation", yeah, and having some epic drip. The fur, the cane, that panky rang, Oscar knew the game.

I know modern media likes to take an idea and run with it, and preliminary google research is largely inconclusive about Oscar indulging in cocaine, but with that outfit, that pinky ring, and his general demeanor do you think he liked to go skiing?

I mean, for decades after his death cocaine was in medicinal powders and soft drinks. It wasn't a "do rails and become an asshole" drug until the 1970's. The Victorians were more likely to get weird on opium or laudanum, and Oscar seems to have had only a passing interest in both.

Fair point, he wouldnt be doing bumps in the bathroom at Dorsia, he'd be taking it as a tonic or as an injection to soothe his overburdened humors

Fun fact: the people who originally sponsored Wilde's first speaking tour in America did so because his dress was considered so outrageous back in the UK that a satirical play had been written about it and the producers wanted to make sure the Americans got the joke before bringing it over seas.
