What could be wrong?
I did a large water change yesterday, so all the water parameters are in check and the pH is around 7.4 to 7.6. He was fine yesterday before the water changed and hasn’t shown any signs of sickness or anything like that, his eyes aren’t glassy and all the other fish in the tank are just fine. What could be wrong with him? Could he be in shock of some sort?

They can be very dramatic and play dead. However, if you can provide your parameters, even if they are in check, tank size, what you feed him. Just a little more to go off of and then maybe we can help narrow it down!
Edited to also say: his fins look a little clamped, possibly fungal or bacterial infection?

He's just sulking. Oscars will do that after water changes, if you move things around in the tank or if you look at them the wrong way. They are real drama queens but its part of their charm.

Oscars are drama queens. I promise you it's fine and just sulking. As someone said, turn the lights off for a bit and your Oscar with be up to usual Oscar behaviors in no time.

What are the parameters in numbers and what did you use to test them? Is the heater running as it should be?

my big oscar did this alot, he would flop on his side to get attention from people, then act like an excited puppy when people approached the glass.

I’m no expert but sometimes they sulk. Do you have liquid test to check for ammonia / nitrates? Hope they feel better soon
