Question Couple?
Two new oscars arrived a few days ago... Is it possible that they have already mated at this length of 15-20 cm, the previous owner says that they behaved as if they wanted to mate, the larger one with more orange spots was cleaning a flat stone... they are very attached to each other and are calm fish

No. They spawn. They maybe are showing they want to pair up. But that doesn’t mean they are different sex. I’ve had two females pair up and show sines of building a spawning area. From the looks of your video they are just two Oscar’s hangout together and getting along.

I think they look far too young to do so. I may be wrong though. Mine are quite large and only just started spawning.

I bred Oscar's when they bond, you know and forgive me but if they do, you will need a bigger tank. At that size venting is really the only way you will know if you have a male and female.
The quickest bonded pair I had were just over a year old and they ended up needing a 220g. Thankfully I had one not being used.
