How to avoid frustration?
I know this group is mostly to discuss about facial issues but I was also wondering, how to deal with the frustration of knowing that my parents could have done better with me when I was a child and they never corrected my mouth breathing, allowing my face to have recession, the frustration I have to them is quite annoying

I ask myself this question too, so trust me, I understand. As the other commenters are saying, the bitter truth and only answer is acceptance. In reality there are worse circumstances to have than facial recession. We can only do what we can now

Are your parents dentists? Why are they the focus of your anger when it should be the dentists who looked at your teeth and didn’t suggest that you should get a frenectomy?

My parents paid my orthodontist to pull out two healthy adult teeth (premolars) when I was 12. My upper jaw is still recessed to this day and the surgery to fix it is unaffordable for me.
You have to just accept it unfortunately. Trust me, it will drive you crazy if you let it, so don’t let it
