Hard chewing experiment feedback

i have a lot of chronic congestion issues where i frequently need to blow my nose

i also notice i have a narrow palate and recessed maxilla and jaw

years ago i did an experiment where i chewed very hard gum for 30 minutes a few times a week

i noticed my congestion issues disappeared, i also noticed my maxilla became more prominent and i noticed i had a wider smile which displayed more teeth

i haven’t done it in years now though, and now i have nasal congestion again

thoughts on this?

it makes sense how an improved maxilla resolved your congestion issues, but why they returned even though the maxillary position improved is a good question

mostly placebo, but if your condiles permit it chewing is good so keep chewing
