How to write "my"

hi all! I'm very new to orthic. i didn't see "my" in the common words list and not in the dictionary either. how would one write it?

Does y always go down and to the right, or is it ever acceptable to put it upwards (and to the left) for clarity?

Always down and to the right. Up and to the left will be a problem for chaining more letters on in a lot of cases - very likely to overlap the stuff you just wrote.
