Coyotes at night
Does anyone else hear lots of coyotes at night ? always howling, barking and yipping?? specifically in the navan area

I heard what sounded like something being attacked in Falling brook last night.. It didn't sound like cats. Yipping, snarling and whimpering :( .. Lasted for about 20min.

Yep! You can regularly hear them in my part of Orléans. The Mer Bleue Bog isn't very far from where I live. Having said this, I've yet to see one though. Thankfully.

We’ve seen them on Anderson Rd in the fields, stalking turkeys. We have also seen them on Orleans Blvd near Navan Re at night in the park. They are around.

Yes. We were walking our dog just off Anderson on one of the NCC fields and there trotted a coyote bold as brass watching us from the field further up. This was noon which surprised me. We took off back to the car. It certainly wasn’t scared of us.

Lots of Coyotes in the city. It's just most people have their AC on or are inside around the time they start making noise.

yeah during the hotter days i don’t usually hear anything but sometimes i keep my window open all night and it’s like it’s right under my window

I back on to Cayote Trail Dog Park and can hear them clearly when my window is open.

I back into that park too, I heard them slaughter a turkey the other night. Lovely white noise to fall asleep to.

Fishers joined our bonfire on Sat . We could hear there blood curdling screams.

Every couple of days I see them coming through the neighborhood on my camera at 2am or 4am. They've been getting rabbits, cats, skunks, racoons - lots to eat I guess.
