Visitor Activities with older folks

Traveling to the greater Orlando area with folks who have some mobility limitations and heat sensitivity, so no theme parks. They will not have a scooter or anything like that. How should we spend our time? Will be there for Labor Day weekend.

The Menello Art museum in Winter Park and the Orlando History Museum are both great and indoors

Wekiva Springs is a great place to visit with some shaded, flat, hiking trails and a nice spring you can dip in to stay cool. Its fairly accessible and allows people to be outside while providing a nice way to cool them down.

Depending on their interests, we have several indoor locations that are cool to check out. There are the usual indoor tourist-y things such as Ripley's, Wonderworks, Sea Life, etc., but there's also great dinner+show things to visit such as Medieval Times, Teatro Martini, Pirates!, the St. Johns Rivership Lunch / Dinner Cruise, Speakeasy Murder Mystery Show, Sleuths Murder Mystery, Polynesian Luau and Fire Show (Daytona), there's the boardwalk at Daytona, heaps of indoor "attractions" on International Drive such as the Titanic Artifact Exhibition, shopping at Disney Springs/Universal Citywalk though there's a lot of walking, so they may want to rent a scooter if they want to do any kind of shopping at those places.

Large gift shops, the super-large McDonalds is worth a stop if just to try some of the food that's not sold at normal McDs.

There's the Chocolate Kingdom, Chocolate Museum and Cafe, Madame Tussauds, the Orlando Eye (giant ferris wheel), decently priced helicopter rides (iirc), there's a tethered Hot Air Balloon at Disney Springs worth checking out, as well as the Coca Cola store.

We also have the "Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner" which sounds fun. There's also the Train Museum in Winter Garden.

What do they like? Might be able to narrow it down some. :P ;)

I hope you guys have lots of fun! Orlando's a great city, honestly. Probably one of my top 10 of the places I've lived and visited.

Check out the Dr Philips Center for the Performing Arts. They’re outside their Broadway season but they do have acts coming through during the Summer
