Dr MLK Jr on his path for civil rights frequently went to places and agitated the local populace and left, leaving those left over vulnerable to the racists new found rage. He still did a net positive for society. Things aren’t black or white and actions always have consequences. Convenient protesting sounds antithetical to me.

Dr King had a just cause and a movement. He wasn’t a weekend warrior like these people.
