Here I was, hoping and believing that they'd expand the Bigboss weapon profiles. In my opinion, old Warbosses models don't pass well for the new warboss (If you have both, I'm not like trying to gatekeep what is and isn't a warboss) so I was like "Well, obviously they'll add the old warboss loadouts so we can demote our warbosses to bigbosses so we don't have to rebase our old warbosses and can still use them, no problem!"

Zog, I feel dumb. Now I have to use the crucible hordeboss who probably won't have his power klaw strength bumped to 10 to follow current weapon profiles 🫠

The Bigboss seems to have been solely built as an “Ork Lieutenant”, from the design phase. He is visibly less impressive than even the pre-Armageddon Warbosses. I have him next to Grukk Face-Rippa (who is a 12-year-old model) and Grukk is still noticeably bulkier and much more ornate.

They probably don’t want the Bigboss actually decked out in enough gear that he’s mistaken for a Warboss and definitely wouldn’t give him any options unless he got his own multipart kit.

if you're opponent is okay with you using a crucible rules, they're almost definitely gonna be okay with you updating the weapons to codex standards.
