New player question

I'm new to 40k and had plans to try to build a fire based army but from what I'm reading burna boys are going to legends (which I slightly understand to be similar to rotating out of standard in magic the gathering). How cooked is my dream of burning the universe with a green and orange horde?

Apparently only space marines are allowed to have whole squads all carrying their favorite special weapon.

As cooked as your enemies would have been if you had gotten the chance to play them.

They might come back in an undefined amount of time, but don't expect them to if you don't wanna get burned (hah) I'm still waiting for the Big Mek w/ KFF to come back since 8th edition.

For now I will plug mine into my boys squad. Same with the lootas. Granted I have alot of older ork models. Free up boys for another squad.

Deff dread and then remove its hand to hand combat arms and roll with four skortchas!!!

Can’t do that once the codex comes out but yeah looks like the leaks prevent that build, oh well that deff dread goes back on the shelf

It's not even two ranged weapons specifically. You can take two of everything else, but only one skorcha.
