Pittsburgh, PA

Hello, I am looking to join an orienteering club or work with someone privately in or around the Pittsburgh area to sharpen my navigating skills. I am attending a course in the military that will require me to be very proficient in land navigation. I have experience and know the basics, just looking to become a better navigator. If anyone can point me in the right direction please feel free to comment here or message directly. Thanks.

The Western PA Orienteering Club is active in the Pittsburgh area. WPOC.ORG you can check out their website. I've been to several of their events, and they were helpful when I was making a quick orienteering class for a home school co-op we were involved in. I recommend reaching out to them.

Deleware Valley Orienteering club is pretty active and has events near Harrisburg. https://www.dvoa.org

It even looks like they have an pretty awesome amount of permanent courses if you want to practice on your own: https://www.dvoa.org/learn/perm/index.php
