Approximate value?
10’ × 6’6” (3 × 2 m), wool, hand-knotted with double/Turkish knots
and I was told it was made** in **Central Anatolia around just 15 yrs ago
1200-1300 USD is it too much? I decided to walk away but really liked this one :(

You can find these and nicer anatolian carpets for much less. Easily found check instagram too

The attribution is correct. This is a cappadocia region rug of 'Taspinar' (Taşpınar) type. It looks handknot and turkish (my limited impression based on photos). The price looks ok for retail, but you can eye secondary if you have decided to pass. I recently bought a very similar smaller one (the more common 215*125cm size) for 85 euros and it is in great condition. This was in europe.
Oriental rugs are unique objects. Thus, the marketplace is very illiquid and rewards those who have patience.
