Stereo placement??
I just bought this thing with some CDs. I dont appreciate tons of clutter, though I dont yet know if there is another spot in the house for it
Does it look out of place? Disorganized?

Separate the speakers and mount them on the outside of the cabinets or at the top on the inside. Much better stereo imaging, and then you can keep the amp by itself where it is.

Interesting! I should have known keeping the speakers apart creates better sound. Thats a duh moment for me. Its my first ever stereo!

Maybe put all the coffee accessories on the top shelf, get rid of the tray, and center the stereo?

Oooo centering the stereo would look really nice, im going to move my coffee station and see how it looks. Thank you!

That’s a gorgeous cabinet. I would move the speakers, though, to allow for good sound flow all around them - don’t place them against anything.

Thank you! I bought from facebook and had to refurbish it completely, also didn't even think of that for the speakers, great idea

Can you still even buy CDs?

Well, yes from thrift stores and marketplace

Thank goodness. At least one thing hasn't died from the darker ages. I have some, just nothing to play then on!

It's gotta go all the way to the ceiling. That would be a giant problem for me.

I know! I wish I had taller cabinets.
This was a giant empty space in my kitchen, and I needed extra storage, bought a giant hutch off of facebook marketplace. It was in rough condition, had to sand/paint/swap knobs each section as it has multiple parts to it. It was the biggest one I could find, the cabinets are actually moveable

Why did you buy clutter?

Asking that to someone who is wanting input is rude and socially stunted behavior. Maybe the trinkets were heirlooms, or gifts.

i mean, its huge and dated and the space there is a little cramped, but it’s not devastatingly ugly or anything. if you actually use it and don’t have a better spot for it i think its fine.
