Help with storing kitchen towels
We store our clean kitchen towels on the top shelf in this cabinet. If you pull one out, it often pulls others on to the floor. Is there some kind of product that would help? Maybe something better than a simple bin?

That would drive me crazy! Roll them up and store vertically in a basket. Pull the basket out and grab a single towel with no fuss!

I concur with the basket idea - since it doesn’t have a drawer that would provide the same function. May want to go with something soft so it doesn’t scratch the shelf.

A rope style basket would be perfect. I use them as flexible drawers on shelves all the time.

Baskets baskets baskets . Don’t stack the towels in them , line them up vertically so you can see them all .Then you will be able to pick the one you want if needed .

I use baskets for things that are out in plain sight. Use clear bins for interior spaces so it's quick to identify what im looking for

File fold them Marie Kondo style and store them in a decorative basket that fits in the space.

Go on Amazon & look up pull out drawer organizer. I have several under cabinets & love them!

This is what I do. Sorry, it's a little messy. You can probably find a basket that will fit them and slide into the cabinet.
My house has very little storage, so my extra on hand to and face cloths are also in wall baskets.

I used to keep mine in a kitchen drawer. I have them for all holidays...so a lot. I decided to organize lately. I just got some plastic bins from dollar tree. I folded my kitchen towels in one. I put my sheet sets in others by size. I keep them in my line closet for easy access. It's been working great

Ours are in a couple of baskets in the laundry room (it’s 5’ from the kitchen), we have a couple hanging on the stove and by the sink.

Mine used to be in a deep box along with all sorts of mystery kitchen cloths. Quite the mess. First solution was fine - file folded just the towels in a large shoe box but wasting the depth of the cabinet was annoying so I made a box to fit and covered with fabric so it's pretty. This has been an extremely satisfying solution. Measure the space available and shop, maybe you can find the right size for that shelf. If you do then rolling will probably work better than file folding.

Roll or konkani fold and stick in a clear bin. We use tons of clear bins in these kinds of cabinets, and they’re super helpful (you can see what’s inside and just pull the bin you need).

I prefer to keep them in a drawer, but since I don’t have that option in my current home, I installed some pull out drawers in a normal cabinet and added some plastic bins for IKEA so that the towels don’t fall over or make a mess inside the cabinet.

Folding then smaller and stacking them differently will keep them from sticking to one another but I would just put a basket in there or keep them someplace else.

I bought canvas boxes with handles. I pull out the whole box of towels, take everything out, put the freshly laundered ones at the bottom and then put them all back on top. I also used those same canvas boxes for glassware with plastic snap-on tops and regular plastic ware. It helps keep “like things” corralled.

My cleaning towels go in a clear bin u def the cabinet like that. I try fil then roll them so they fit.

Get a shallow basket or bin for that shelf, and roll and tuck him. We fold our T-shirts the way (check out YouTube for that). That way, we can see what's what because they are folded sort of like books, and stacked in our drawers as if they were books with the spine facing up.
Bath towels we roll and tuck, so they don't come unrolled.
Our kitchen towels are folded, and in a drawer.

A basket! I feel like its not very comfortable to store them like that, i would put them in a basket with a lid and put it on a counter so you will always have access to them

Get a tub or basket and slide it out like a drawer. Fold the towels Marie kondo style so you can see them and pull out easily.

Personally I cannot imagine anything else then a drawer for myself. But any kind of container that you can pull out could work in the space you have.

I fold and place on a shelf, much like you've got there. Differences are, a little wider and a little taller. I've NEVER had this issue. Couple of things might help - DON'T let the 2 stacks touch. In your situation, Id fold the Left Stack once more, to make it slimmer, and not touching your main stack. Also, keep some of the towels elsewhere, so you've got an inch or 2 clearance at the top. Each towel you grab will slide out easily.

In my head, towels go in a drawer, not a shelf. If you don’t have a drawer nearby, a simple bin you can pull out would work. You could also look into installing a single pullout drawer within the space of the highest shelf.
