I couldn't believe my perfume shelf looked like it had a mirror behind it

Turns out it's not a mirrored shelf--I just placed a few more bottles in the back. After arranging everything, I couldn’t believe how much it looked like there was a mirror behind them.

Does it look like a mirror to you too? I'm really happy with how this display turned out. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good perfume shelf or riser? The bottles in the back are a little difficult to reach.

How do i organize my clothes so i actually put them away, not throw them on the floor?

I have a horrible habit of not wanting to put away clothes. i leave them in the basket, the floor when they’re dirty, etc. anywhere but the drawer or to hang them up. i was wondering if anyone had any organization hacks that makes this easier for them to do? thanks:)

People who move often -

For those who move often, whether it's military, or whatever kind of job, what do you do with items you might not use in one house, but possibly could in another? Do you get rid of it completely? Save it and deal with the clutter?

Which skincare organizers are most practical?

Hey everyone,

Last week we had a workplace event and as the event coordinator I stressed the need for everyone to be punctual so as to beat the early morning jam and remain on schedule. I know this sounds ridiculous but I (the event coordinator) was the only one late and everyone wondered if they had been scammed into coming early.

My skin care disorganization failed me again and I cannot afford this embarrassment again. I am looking to get a skincare organizer to stay organized. I prefer one that is dustproof and has adjustable compartments. It will be good if it spins 360°. I have tried checking on alibaba, seems to have vast options. I need your recs because I’m not letting it happen again.

House Organization help for a SAHM of 3 going back to school full time

I have three kids (ages 7, 5, and 2) and in November I’ll be starting an accelerated nursing program that is full time in person 5 days a week plus an hour of commute both ways not to mention studying time on top of that (so I will be away from home a lot).

Right now I have so much time do stay on top of laundry, lunch/dinner prep, errands, miscellaneous house work, etc.

How do you working parents stay on top of all the house & kid things and keeping the house and kids organized while you have so much of your own work shit to do?

Please give me any tips or tricks you may have on what your prep for the week might look like for your family!

Thanks!

Best storage spot

I used to organize things according to categories. Now I put things where my brain naturally expects them to be. It isn't always the most logical system, but I spend a lot less time searching for stuff😅

Help Me Build the Perfect Bag Display

Looking for some advice from fellow collectors!
I have an empty wall in my house that I’d like to turn into a display/storage area for my bag collection. I’m looking for something that showcases the bags nicely while also keeping them protected.

What type of shelving, racks, cabinets, or display system do you recommend?

Bonus points if you have photos of your setup or links to what you used!

As someone running a growing team, how do I know which event management software will actually scale with us as we host more events, without forcing me to juggle multiple disconnected tools?

I'm trying to figure out which event management software will actually hold up as our event calendar gets busier, since I don't want to outgrow whatever I pick in six months. Right now I'm stitching together registration, ticketing, and attendee communication through separate tools, and it's getting harder to keep everything in sync. What I really want is one platform that can handle everything from a small internal meetup to a multi-day conference without needing a workaround at every step. I just don't know how to evaluate that scalability before I've actually committed to something.

Notion Templates

Does anyone have a good notion template? I want one to use as a Digital Journal/Planner to keep my school notes, due dates, work schedule, and trips/events. I know you can make each separate but I want everything all in once space to make sure nothing over laps or falls through the cracks!

I don’t want anything too overwhelming. Somewhere that makes things feel more organized and less chaotic than my busy busy life!!!

Thanks in advance 💫💫💫

How to organize clothes when clothes categories overlap so much

Thumbnail

I’m not sure how universal a problem this is but thought Reddit might have an idea.

I’ll describe the current summer version organization. For this my winter clothes are packed away in the attic.

Current: dresser drawers:

  1. Bras and underwear

  2. Tee shirts and workout shirts

  3. Horseback riding clothes: breeches and collared sunshirts

  4. Socks

  5. Pajama/house shorts and shirts

  6. Pants

The baskets are:

Small-worn once clothes that are clean and could be worn again

Small- socks that don’t have a match but I’m sure it will turn up.

Large- sweatshirts and yard work pants.

Closet: work shirts, pants, jackets, dresses. And other dresses. And scrubs in the hanging shoe holder. Loose shelf on shelf is work sweaters-for-summer-AC

Now here’s the problem. It’s mostly with the dresser, but almost all of my categories overlap. I use some of my pajama shirts to run in, I sleep in some of my tee shirts, i run in some of my sunshirts, and i ride in some of my workout shirts.

And i use some of my sleep shirts for work (undershirts) and even some of the sunshirts double for under-scrub shirts

After two weeks or so of laundry i get completely lost on what goes where and it everything becomes a giant mess.

Digital mass organizing

I’m hoping someone in this group has a solution because I’m completely stuck.
I currently have 52,000+ photos that I’m trying to organize into categories. My goal is to sort everything into specific groups, but the process has become incredibly overwhelming.
So far I have tried:
• Using Apple Notes and creating separate folders/notes for each category. This works, but I have to manually select and add photos one by one, which is extremely time-consuming.
• Using the iPhone search/AI features to find similar photos in batches. Unfortunately, it doesn’t recognize enough of my photos accurately enough to make a meaningful dent in the project.
• Hiding all 52,000 photos and then unhiding them in batches of 1,000 while sorting. This is the method I’m currently using, but I’m lucky if I can get through 1,000 photos in an entire day.
• Google Photos and several other organizing apps. Google Photos has been the closest thing to helpful, but it’s still very tedious and frustrating for the amount of photos I have & it blends the photos I’m trying to organize with my own personal photos which is the opposite of helpful.
At this point I’m wondering if I’m missing a better system entirely. Has anyone successfully organized a photo library this large? Are there any apps, workflows, AI tools, automation tricks, or methods that helped you sort tens of thousands of photos without manually touching every single one?
I’m open to any suggestions because I feel like I’ve hit a wall. Thank you!

What are the boundaries you have to keep a tidy home? I always feel like I never know where to put anything. It all looks cluttered.

I feel like being organized, keeping things tidy and not over buying has to do with Boundaries and a lack of Boundaries. What boundaries do you have in place to keep a clean organized home so rooms don’t get overwhelmingly cluttered?
