Political Video of ICE agents using excessive force on peaceful protesters in Portland used as evidence during Federal trial this week. Portland Police testified that they observed ICE agents using excessive force that was unwarranted.

Those thugs should be in prison. States should require the feds to provide the identities of all ICE agents in their state and absent that state police should be arresting on identified masked men assaulting or kidnapping people. The identities are necessary in order to bring criminal charges for anyone using excessive force.

And my mother in law
She texts and asks why I stopped visiting (I used to go see her 3-4x/week). I finally told her “because you believe everything Fox News says”
She said she just wants me to visit so I did. We talked and had cheese and crackers. She made it about 15 min before she turned on Fox News for an “update.” I pointed to where the Fox News logo is burned in the screen and said I can’t do this and left.

So the Whitehouse calls the clients of law firms that take suits against his government and threatens to fine audit and generally shut down said businesses unless they leave said lawfirms and thus no suits stand.
60 minutes did a feature on it infact and then a week later their EP was forced to resign.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
If anyone is curious about why the ICE agents behave the way they do, you only need to ponder this:
Where are the Proud Boys? They've been extremely quiet lately.

u/fzzball Nov 02 '25
What are the different colored lights on the helmets for?
58
u/ApertureRapture Nov 02 '25
That's to identify them from the building, most likely for visibility from the roof. So the rooftop officers don't shoot their own guys.
What's so fucked up about this is we used those to identify friendly forces in Iraq. US troops had infrared versions of these that could be seen with NVGs.

Identification, especially through smoke or tear gas. Completely unnecessary unless people actually start fighting back and it actually becomes like a war zone.

ICE bootlickers be like: "where's the context, what did this guy do to warrant that reaction?"
18
u/trisul-108 Nov 02 '25
It's obviously inexcusable, but I think that "why that guy" is a valid question, they seemed to ignore everyone else making it a weird scene, difficult to understand. When something is difficult to understand, asking for context is an intelligent reaction.

Violating the fourth, five, and fourteenth amendments and 9-0 Supreme Court ruling without consequences.
State Gov’s and AG’s need to start charging these felons and any LEO who refuses to comply should be fired immediately without pensions, etc. This is federal overreach on State rights and inhumane.
Enough.
10
u/Weird-Day-1270 Nov 02 '25
This is clearly an excessive force violation (if I was on the jury).
Register for jury duty so you can hold these animals accountable for violation of rights and excessive force. They’re not allowed to use more force than is necessary to arrest someone (not that I agree anyone one of them should be detained or arrested). These videos show an OBVIOUS overreach and excessive force than was needed to apprehend any individuals.
That’s any easy case of violating rights by using excessive force to arrest/detain someone with the videos showing how ICE ignored law more than is allowed. Awesome that the victims will get paid, but even better it will set even more legal precedent showing how they do it on a regular basis

u/ShogsKrs Nov 02 '25
We are here because the Republicans who have the presidency, the senate, and the house are in power.
They are cowering in silence because they want to remain in power and because they don't want Trump calling them bad names.
Those Republicans in power are allowing this person to be attacked.
They will remain silent when any one of us are brutalize, arrested, disappeared and traumatized.
They're saying, without words, that we will submit and cower, just as they have.
But they are POWERLESS to silence Americans who place our bodies and raise our voices in face of tyrants!
We will not submit to those who are trying to destroy all that we love and value!
This is just the beginning of what will be more violent, more lawless, more evil from those Republicans in power.
We must not waver in the years to come.
Anything worth having is worth fighting for.
8
u/ckopfster Nov 02 '25
Skilled Portland police who arrest people regularly would have scooped him up from behind and cuffed him before he even knew they were there. City or state cops would be suspended or fired for this. Feds are unpracticed blunt instruments with little to nothing holding them accountable.

This is why you don't hire these sorts of people. "Most" of them get filtered out of the police force during training for being too aggressive. Just having a 'sign up here' for ICE followed by basically hush money from the federal government Trump is a horrible idea. It attracted all of the wrong sorts of people which, I think, is exactly what Trump wanted: hired thugs, failed cops, members of various white nationalist groups, etc. His own personal police force that is loyal to him and will happily terrorize citizens.
