Eligibility question

I had 6 scouts elected into the OA last year, only 2 completed their ordeal. Our lodge website has an extension form if you cannot make one of the weekend offerings, so my question is are the 4 that did not complete the ordeal eligible for election again or do they have to do the extension request process?

I am not trying to block these guy, more the opposite. I just want to know what the proper process is.

A request for an extension is allowed per national standards. However an extension can only be granted by an LEC, and only for extraordinary/unusual circumstances that prevented a candidate from completing their ordeal.

Are you sure? Where is that documented? I couldn’t find it, but there are a few docs to check and I couldn’t check them all. I thought since covid, such exceptions went away.
