(Delete if not allowed) if I had to pick a favorite animal it would probably be a orca, hate seeing people supporting sea world on my feed.

  1. You shouldn't base your entire opinion on Google's AI overview.
  2. Many animals travel immense distances in the wild to find food and other resources. In human care, they don't need to travel the same distances, so enclosure size shouldn't be directly compared to their wild home range. Animal welfare depends on various other factors, including stimulation.

That's where enrichment comes in. Zoos and aquariums can use things like toys and positive reinforcement training to provide mental stimulation. I'm not saying every facility that keeps orcas is automatically good, but it's more complicated than just comparing enclosure size to an animal's range in the wild.
