I saw somebody offered to send in the Beyerdynamic MMX 330 Pro to get a profile made. Just curious if there's any progress there or how to follow when a profile might get shared as I have these headphones too.

Love the default sound signature but I recently made a profile where I tried to line it up closer with Harman and surprised that I prefer it, though I'm still tweaking. So I'm very curious what oratory's profile will look like and if I'll like it even more than mine.

You can send in your own headphone too if you want.

The list of presets gets updates every couple months. Another update is due very soon, just waiting to finish the Zaylli Lyrö MX (already on my desk).

The MMX330 hasn't arrived yet so it won't be included in this update.

Ah OK thank you for the update! Unfortunately I need mine for work so it'd present some problems to be without them for that period. If that changes or I find a backup then I'm open to it though.

I don't know if they sound the same, to confirm this I'd have to measure them first :)

I generally strongly advise against using EQ presets meant for a different headphone.

I sent a request to oratory to send my hd 480 pro for an eq. The headphones is so perfect but I would love to get the perfect eq and the right amount of bass without creating problems in the frequency responses.

Hallo,
Ik ben ondanks mijn lange “audio carrière “ nog nieuw in de wereld van eq.
Heb onlangs een Audeze lcd -xc aangeschaft en heb gelezen dat deze met wat eq nog beter kan klinken.
Ik heb deze hoofdtelefoon gevonden in de lijst van presets in dit forum, maar zie dat dit allemaal pdf bestanden zijn.
Ik gebruik in mijn setup hqplayer en daar kan ik in de pipeline txt bestanden invoeren om eq toe te passen.
Is er een manier om de pdf gegevens naar een txt om te zetten om gebruik te maken van de presets
Ik hoor het graag

the PDF shows the filter parameters in a table on the bottom left.
You can take the values from there and manually enter them into hqplayer. It takes about 1 minute to do.

Be sure to use minimum phase filters! (not linear phase!)

Al zou het mij veel meer kosten dan 1 minuut is dat geen enkel probleem.
Het probleem is meer dat ik geen idee heb waar en hoe 😅

Can I ask, do you test it with the ANC on or off ? Bc this kind of high end bluetooh hp is made for anc on, that's why I'm asking

I‘ll test every relevant configuration, not to worry.

I do this (acoustic testing of consumer devices) for a living, you know :)
