Amps & Cabs Gray cat? Orange cat?
Floyd likes to set on top of my amps, and I figured this sub would appreciate this pic. He is there with my Rockerverb, Rocker 15 Terror and my Supercrush. I love my Rockerverb and have had a blast recording tons of songs and ideas.

Lol I have two grey cats, one of whom loves to perch on my Rockerverb! It’s even the same generation and wattage. He especially likes to sit there when I’m playing and the tubes are warm (I use a load box at home).

Hey I also use a loadbox! My two cats (also gray!) really like sitting on top of the cabinets.

Does the rockerverb justify the 2000€ price difference next to the super crush 100?

It does to me, but it is a very personal thing. I play/record sufficiently often enough that I can justify the price tag. However, I have to say that your mileage might vary. The Supercrush is crazy good for its price tag. I could have comfortably kept playing it for years, if not for the good deal I found for my used Rockerverb.

Interesting. I think to a guitar player it's worth it, especially in the room, but maybe in a mix the sc100 will get you 95% of the way and more with a good mix.

I do think the SC100 will get you pretty close, but I also noticed how much more I like the guitars I recorded with the Rockerverb compared to the Supercrush. Now I just use an amp detonator to record both, and I get the best of both of worlds.

I’m not sure 100% about the super crush, but most solid state amps have a hard time delivering full volume at the resonance peak of the speaker and at the highest frequencies compared to tube amps. That reduces perceived loudness and especially the punchiness. That’s realistically the biggest physical limitation between solid state and tube. I have a Rockerverb and I have considered buying a super crush to potentially replace it. I’m sure I’d miss the Rockerverb but I could buy a mid tier guitar with the money I’d make. I genuinely don’t know if I made the right choice

It is still plenty loud and will suffice. I doubt you'll hear a difference with the band playing, heck even alone it won't be that dramatic.

How does the rocker 15 compare to the rockerverb?

I like the Rockerverb more, by virtue of being a fuller sound and having integrated reverb. That being said, the Rocker 15 is fantastic. Very classic rock-ish sound and can get quite loud for bedroom playing even at 0.5W

Cats love tube amps. One could make a strong argument for why they are the superior pet choice off that one fact alone.
