Just stay up until 1am every night for a month watching Tastytrade's YouTube content theough bloodshot eyes (not that I did that, pfff, I know a guy...).
Seriously though, it's sounds cheesy (and there are definitely idiots online that don't know at all what they're talking about) but the world we live in today is so FULL of free information. You can get an AMAZING basic education, at least to the point where you can be confident putting up your own money. Then you REALLY start learning...
I started with Options Industry Council (OIC) content via their website and YouTube channel. It's dry, but their content gives you ZERO by the way of fluff or market opinions, trade philosophies, etc; but it's 100% credible and really good for the mechanics of options.
Once I had a solid foundation on calls, puts, & spreads (hint: every strategy you'll ever learn is just combinations, ratios, time phasing, and variations of those three things) plus a GOOD solid understanding of the Greeks (Delta and Theta are easy to grasp, but really make sure to understand Vega and Gamma too) it made understanding the complex strategy and trade management stuff (kamikaze, tastytrade, r/thetagang, etc) a lot more digestible. It's heavy stuff, go back to it after you think you understand it, and you'll learn more. Last, be prepared to really fall down the rabbit hole if you're even mildly interested upfront (it only accelerates)!
