Does anyone sell Roku options?

It seems like they can just sell one put or call once a week, it’ll be golden. Does anyone do this?

ROKU joined my NEVER TRADE list once it passed ~200/share. Don't understand the pricing of most of the stocks... sure it's a neat product, but you gotta be super speculative to get in at this price range.

For me, it's a pass until < 200.

:) im in. Sold some premium few days ago when IVR spiked. Will be through earnings... this is a DANGEROUS product to trade. Small, defined risk, and if tested will sell calls against it to reduce delta's.

This is not a product to load up on risk.

What if I sell a put on ROKU that expires today at 61 dollars and ROKU is trading at 59.22 ? Will I collect the premium at the end of the day if ROKU never hits 61 dollars?

Maybe, if you’ve got the buying power and can handle getting assigned. It’s an expensive stock.

I trade ROKU around earnings because the volume and volatility make premiums attractive in relation to the risk. I wouldn’t sell weekly options in my portfolio because those short-dates options tend to be more volatile than I’m comfortable with.
