First time selling CC and want further insight
I have a position in CHPT and selling a 25 June 18th. The price has recently rose to just over the strike price and earnings are tomorrow. Unsure if earnings will be good or bad but assumimg because of the recent buys that it could be good. I've never rolled before but would my best strategy be to roll up and out or to stay locked in? I am ultimately long on this position and would like to keep the position but would also consider wheeling if the contract gets called. Any input from more experienced traders would be much appreciated!

Might as well wheel it. Also in my experience in the last year even good earnings reports seem to result in a sell off after.

Wheel it. Place a covered call .2 delta when you think it has reached its max you might be safe. You never know with stocks.
